There as many Democrats as Republicans supporting SOPA and PIPA, if not more. As much as I complain about the United States, I don’t know much about their political culture, beyond its insanity and being ineffectual. Do parties mean anything in the US?  I want to support the Democrats over the Republicans, but it is really freaking hard when they have essentially the same horrible opinion.
